This application corner makes use of cognitive services for search.


The APPCOGNITIVESEARCH consists of three components:


- support for cognitive research of APP4AR users and clients. This activity is available to any connected user/clients and offers flexibility in searching for APP4AR members;


- support to the user/client  for the search for their own assets created and used in the design of their augmented reality;


- support for searching the resources available in APP4AR created by any content creator if it has been explicitly made public access;

USE APP COGNITIVE SEARCH TO CONFIGURE POLICIES

The client and the user of APP4AR create their own augmented reality through the project application corners.

They can also create assets for general use to be used for example in the form of attachments in the APPADVSENDEMAIL.
A  cognitive indexing is automatically created for all the resources she/he creates and maintains.
In the APP for creating the specific resource,  the cognitive index on the resource is updated.

The request is always strictly restricted to the assets of the user or logged client.
The assets of other users or clients are obviously not accessible.

The COGNITIVE SEARCH APP allows a customer or user (with a basic account) to activate cognitive search services to effectively publish their presence and content to all APP4AR subscribers.

APPCOGNITIVESERACH: PUBLISHIG FEATURE

  • The contents processed by the Cognitive Search Services are:

  • - texts

  •  

  • - pdf resources (content read using OCR)

  • - plain images (interpreted in the meaning represented and read text included

  • - target activated images (custom mono use type)

METADATA.

The decision to publish to the cognitive research services a textual blob, the versions of the PDF resources generated by the APPPDF, the multilingual texts generated in the APPADVANCEDCOGNITIVELANGUAGE, plain images or images connected to virtual reality via the underlying DISPATCHER, activates (Target) determines the insertion of the resource. This will be covered for lexicon and semantics by Cognitive Services for Research.
At the time of selection and sending, METADATA information is added which accompanies and integrates important information to add value to the results searched, found and selected by a WIF.

TEXTS

On the texts and read pdf,  cognitive service carries out a reading supported by AI tools for the identification of a series of extrapolated information.

It constitutes a rich content of data extraction and semantic interpretation.

Please refer to the set of searchable fields made available: these illustrate which contents it will be possible to carry out the search and highlight the semantics extracted from the processed documents. 

IMAGES

A similar investigative process is carried out on the images and also in this case we refer to the set of queryable fields to recognize which cognitive interpretative process is carried out on the images.

SERVICE COST

When a user (with a basic account) or customer of APP4AR creates a textual or pdf resource (in this case for each version of the pdf) or an image (image blob for any use) he has the option to request the activation of the Conignive Services lexical and semantic.
This service involves a charge according to the reason ACNT-COGNITIVE-SEARCH- INDEXED-RESOURCE regulated by the underlying SMART CONTRACT.
On the contrary, the WIF that will carry out lexical and semantic searches through this APP will not be charged any cost.

ON RETURNED ITEM WIF SELECTION. METADATA, VIEW SUB-CORNER OR   AUGMENTED REALITY ACTIVATION

After the search, the WIF can select the item of interest.

A detail relating to the ownership of the resource is always presented (code and public name and further optional details).

In the case of a resource that is NOT ACTIVE, in the information interface, the WIF is allowed to activate its VIEWING.

In the case of a selection of an ACTIVE IMAGE result the WIF has the option to animate the underlying augmented reality in the SHOWCASE STAND of its virtual reality,

COOPERATIVE COGNITIVE LANGUAGE SUPPORT

APPCOGNITIVESEARCH takes advantage of the support of cognitive services for language.
The WIF interacts with the APP in its language and the interface is consequently localized in its language. Possibly the WIF can opt for a language different from its default declared language.
The search selection fields will be typed in the spelling of the language in use.
APPCOGNITIVESEACT, using Cognitive Language Services, sends the search options to the search engine in the appropriate form and reproduces the outcome of the request still in the language and spelling of the WIF.

COGNITIVE SEARCH: RESOURCE  MANAGEMENT

An application sub-corner is dedicated to managing the content to be chosen for publication available to APPOGNITIVESEARCH.

his sub-corner therefore  adds a PROJECT APP qualification to APPOGNITIVESEARCH.

The two types of APP provided in the APP4AR ecosystem, i.e. CONTENT APP and PROJECT APP, coexist in APPOGNITIVESEARCH.

The Project sub-angle allows the WIF (client or user with base account) to add resources as in the following image.
